Disney+ Ahsoka series continues to mesmerize audiences with its weekly dose of surprises and unexpected twists.

We have seen previously that several characters have gotten new Force abilities that added an intriguing layer to the Star Wars universe.

In Episodes 2 and 5, viewers witnessed the remarkable use of psychometry by Ahsoka Tano, a power that allowed her to unravel the mysteries surrounding Sabine Wren.

However, it was Episode 7 that truly took the fans by storm with the revelation of a groundbreaking Force power used by none other than Ezra Bridger.

In episode 7, Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren found themselves embroiled in a life-or-death pursuit, fleeing from Peridean raiders and the relentless Shin Hati.

Despite their best efforts at self-defense, they eventually found themselves encircled when Grand Admiral Thrawn’s Night Troopers descended upon them.

The defining moment came when Sabine, in a desperate bid for survival, offered Ezra’s lightsaber to him, hoping he would use it to protect them.

However, Ezra’s response was not what anyone expected. He declined the lightsaber, asserting that it now belonged to Sabine.

What followed was nothing short of spectacular. Ezra unveiled a set of unprecedented Force abilities that pushed the boundaries of what Star Wars fans thought possible.

Instead of relying on the Force in the traditional manner to repel or attract opponents, Ezra appeared to engage in a form of hand-to-hand combat, but without any physical contact.

It was as though he was using the Force to deliver blows to the Night Troopers, a display resembling a unique form of Force-enhanced martial arts.

This innovative technique bore some resemblance to the well-known Force Push, a power Ezra had demonstrated in Star Wars Rebels. However, it deviated from the usual one-time motion to create distance, resembling a sophisticated hand-to-hand combat style.

Moreover, Ezra showcased a rare Force ability within Star Wars during the episode. As Shin Hati swung her lightsaber at him.

Ezra extended his hands and blocked her attack with the Force instead of relying on another lightsaber.

This particular power was also witnessed in “The Rise of Skywalker” during the intense duel between Kylo Ren and Rey atop the ruins of the second Death Star.

Ezra Bridger’s absence from the broader Star Wars story for approximately 12 years, was marked by the Liberation of Lothal and provided him with the opportunity to sharpen his Force abilities independently on the planet of Peridea.

During this time, he learned to survive in a dangerous environment where he lacked his lightsaber and traditional weaponry.

Ezra’s declaration in Episode 7 that “the Force is [his] ally” and “that’s all [he] needs” suggests the extent of his mastery.

As the Ahsoka series progresses, fans are left eagerly speculating whether Ezra will unveil additional undisclosed Force abilities in episode 8, especially if he faces a more formidable threat than the Night Troopers and Raiders.
