Ahsoka: What Happens in Episode 4?

Episode 4 unfolds with Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang racing against the clock to prevent the Imperial loyalist, Elsbeth Morgan, from reaching Thrawn deep in space. Despite their best efforts to repair their ship, they face an impasse.

Ahsoka proposes a daring alternative: They should head to the planet’s base, as Morgan Elsbeth now possesses the map leading to Thrawn and Ezra. A decision looms — should they rescue Ezra or destroy the map to prevent its misuse? A vigilant droid guard keeps watch over Ahsoka’s ship from afar, adding to the tension.

As the plot thickens, Ahsoka reminds Sabine of the importance of doing what’s right, even if it means sacrificing their chance to save Ezra. Meanwhile, Shin informs Morgan and Baylan about Ahsoka’s location, but Morgan believes her droids will handle the situation.

Trouble arises when one of the droids attacks Huyang, leading to a fierce battle where Ahsoka and Sabine must fend off an entire army. In a pivotal moment, Ahsoka contacts Hera, and together with Sabine, they set out for the planet’s base, promising to return for Huyang.

Hera, Jacen, and Chopper take a stand, leaving The Ghost to assist Ahsoka, despite Hera’s direct order to the contrary. The Twi’lek general is joined by her son, Jacen, the irritable droid Chopper, and the skilled human captain Carson Teva, known from a Season 2 episode of “The Mandalorian.”

Back on Seatos, Ahsoka faces off against Marrok, and a breathtaking lightsaber duel between Sabine and Shin once again graces the screen. This showdown between

Sabine and Shin previously became a revolutionary scene showcasing the series’ commitment to thrilling action sequences. This combat between Sabine and Shin provides Ahsoka with the precious time she needs to catch up to Morgan and the crucial map projection. Ahsoka manages to get the drop on him, slicing him in half, and he turns into a green mist that leads to his death.

Ahsoka confronts Baylan, the ex-Jedi Knight, who remarks, “Anakin spoke highly of you” and questions her decision to abandon her Master. Baylan remains steadfast in his belief that aligning with Thrawn and flaming up a new war is the only path to securing the future.

A debate ensues about the plan to rescue Thrawn, leading to a lightsaber duel between Ahsoka and Baylan. In a pivotal moment, Ahsoka turns up victorious, and with a resolute strike, she destroys the map, marking a turning point in the story.

As the situation gets more intense, Shin and Sabine rush to the scene. Sabine, desperate to protect the map, threatens Baylan. But Baylan takes a drastic step by pushing Ahsoka off a nearby cliff and talking about Ezra, making Sabine reluctantly hand over the map to him. However, Shin, using her Force powers, almost harms Sabine before being stopped.

Baylan then activates the map again and sends its coordinates. He destroys the crucial orb with his lightsaber. Sabine is captured and taken onto Morgan’s ship, while Hera, Carson, and their friends battle fiercely against Morgan’s forces.

The hyperdrive starts up, and Jacen has a bad feeling about the situation. Huyang tries to contact Ahsoka and Sabine through the radio but without success.

A shocking twist occurs as Ahsoka awakens from her fall, finding herself in the Netherworld of the Force. It is here that she hears the familiar voice of her former master, Anakin Skywalker, a character for which fans eagerly awaited.

Anakin greets her with his iconic nickname, “Snips,” and remarks, “I didn’t expect to see you so soon,” sporting that characteristic coy smile.
