The show, which moved to the streaming platform as its exclusive home last year, will now continue its run until at least its 60th season.

Set in the fictitious midwestern town of Salem, the show follows the lives and adventures of the core families, the Bradys, the Hortons, the DiMeras, and their friends. Since its move to Peacock, the show has consistently been a top 10 title, garnering strong ratings and critical acclaim.

Days of our Lives has been recognized with 61 Emmy Awards, including the 2022 Outstanding Writing for a Daytime Drama, as well as 392 nominations. The show has also won multiple People’s Choice Awards, GLAAD Media Awards and Prism Awards.

Peacock has been a strong supporter of the soap opera, having previously aired the spinoff Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem for two seasons, as well as the spinoff film Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas in 2021.

Fans of the show can continue to tune in to follow the dramatic and often tumultuous lives of their favorite characters, and new viewers can catch up on the show’s rich history on Peacock. The renewal is a testament to the enduring popularity of Days of our Lives and the continued dedication of its passionate fanbase.
