Sir Michael Gambon who was known for his role as Professor Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter franchise leaves us forever at the age of 82. His family officially confirmed his passing on 28th September, delivering the news through a brief statement from his widow, Lady Anne Gambon, and his son, Fergus

The statement reads, “We are devastated to announce the loss of Sir Michael Gambon. Beloved husband and father, Michael died peacefully in the hospital with his wife Anne and son Fergus at his bedside, following a bout of pneumonia.”

In 2004’s “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” Sir Michael Gambon left an enduring legacy as the beloved character within J.K. Warner Bros. has also issued a statement on  Michael Gambon’s demise  expressing grief, stating:
