We must break the awful news that former WWE wrestler Sara Lee passed away in October at the young age of 30 with heavy hearts. The wrestling community is in grief after the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Lee’s cause of death was suicide. According to the autopsy report, Lee also had bruises and abrasions on her head and body in addition to amphetamines, doxylamine, and alcohol in her system. It serves as a somber reminder of the difficulties that many people—including those in the public eye—face. In 2015, Lee, a skilled wrestler who had previously won the WWE “Tough Enough” sixth season, inspired many in the sports-entertainment industry. In a statement, WWE expressed their sympathies to Lee’s family, friends, and supporters while underlining the influence she had on the business. Our sympathies are with Lee’s family at this terrible time, and we hope that knowing how many lives she touched and how much she will be missed may provide them some solace. Let her soul rest in peace.
