Famous Australian actor Hugh Jackman had two biopsies done recently after his doctor found what may be the most prevalent form of skin cancer, basal cell carcinoma. The Wolverine actor told his followers on Thursday that the results of his tests were negative, and he thanked them and the media for helping him spread the word. Hugh emphasized the importance of always protecting oneself from the heat by donning a high SPF sunblock. He acknowledged that the sunspots he’s been having removed since he was 25 years old are a direct result of his outdoor activities. He also cautioned his followers, particularly those in the northern hemisphere, to take care to cover up when they went outside. Hugh has a history of skin cancer concerns, including the removal of six lesions from his face over the course of two years. He hopes that by sharing his story, others will remember the importance of protecting their epidermis from the heat by using sunscreen.
