In addition to Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, and Tobi Bamtefa, the excellent cast helped make the first season a smashing success for Paramount+. The Marvel actor has been keeping his fans updated on his social media accounts, so it appears he is making a full recovery. Hugh Dillon, Renner’s Kingstown costar, stated that the actor had sent him a “profane” video from his hospital bed, and Kym Renner, Jeremy’s sister, told People that the family was “thrilled with his progress.” Despite the lack of information, the family is “thrilled.” Renner’s recovery means we’ll get to see him in a new season of Mayor of Kingstown, which is great news. More startling surprises may be expected in the second season, as Sheridan is recognized for his harsh and realistic writing. What more this gifted writer has in store for us is something to look forward to.
