When a wrestler decides to leave WWE, he or she usually has more than one option. They might sign with a new wrestling company, try their luck on the indie scene, or take a sabbatical from the business.
Wrestler Nia Jax, whose real name is Lina Fanene, is now on hiatus. As part of WWE’s cost-cutting measures in 2021, Jax was one of several performers let go. But in January, during the 30-woman Royal Rumble match, she made a surprise return for a special appearance. Her resurgence, however, was short-lived, as the other competitors quickly eliminated her. Since then, she has not competed regularly again.
Jax competed in the Royal Rumble for the first time since she left WWE in November 2021. She decided to take a breath before rushing headfirst into yet another wrestling endeavor.
Talented performers like Jax have endless opportunities in the wrestling industry, and their fans can’t wait to watch where their favorite star goes from here.
