Following Steve Rogers’ retirement, Sam Wilson has taken up the mantle of Captain America symbolizing hope and justice in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). His first solo Captain America film “Brave New World” directed by Julius Onah and written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson promises to continue this legacy.

The movie features Anthony Mackie as Cap, Liv Taylor as Betty, Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross (also known as Red Hulk), and a potential cameo by Sebastian Stan as Bucky. However, these may not be the only familiar faces making a return.

She-Hulk’s Debut in Captain America 4

Reports indicate that Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters also known as She-Hulk will appear in “Captain America 4.” While the MCU has faced some criticism regarding She-Hulk’s portrayal, the character itself has potential.

This marks She-Hulk’s first appearance on the big screen in Marvel’s history. Popular YouTuber Grace Randolph initially reported this and subsequent sources have confirmed the news.

The nature of She-Hulk’s role in the film remains unknown but it suggests that the MCU is building towards a more comprehensive Hulk narrative.

With the inclusion of Thunderbolt Ross, Betty Ross, and now She-Hulk it hints at an upcoming Hulk project that may introduce Red Hulk and Hulk’s son Skaar. This development is a promising prospect for Hulk fans eagerly awaiting more adventures in a dedicated Hulk-centric project.

Thunderbolt Ross portrayed by William Hurt has been part of the MCU since its inception but his transformation into Red Hulk has yet to be realized. The expanding MCU now offers a greater likelihood of this transformation finally happening. Hulk’s son Skaar was teased in “She-Hulk” portrayed by young actor Wil Deusner. His appearance has only shown him in Hulk form so the character may change for the speculated Hulk project.

In “Captain America 4” we will also witness the introduction of new characters including Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres (Falcon), Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns (Leader), and Shira Haas as Sabra.

Further cast members Xosha Roquemore and Seth Rollins are shrouded in mystery roles. While plot details remain scarce the broader premise focuses on Sam Wilson’s journey as he steps into his role as the leader and Captain America.

“Captain America 4: Brave New World” is slated for release in the United States on July 26 2024 as part of Phase Five in the MCU. Fans can look forward to a potential Hulk-centric narrative and the debut of She-Hulk in this highly anticipated addition to the MCU.
