Exciting news for all the fans of The Walking Dead Universe! Scott Gimple, the Chief Content Officer, has offered hints on the potential 2nd season.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Scott created excitement among fans by suggesting that The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, won’t be the limited series that was initially expected. Gimple teased that “anything is possible,” hinting at the potential for a second season.

Gimple elaborated on the evolving nature of the project, stating, "Even if Rick dies in the last episode, anything is possible. We’re focused on this one right now. But this one came together in a really amazing way, where there were all sorts of plans. And then the world changed and we altered those plans."

The Ones Who Live was originally planned to be a trilogy of movies centred around Rick Grimes. However, at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, it was revealed that the series will be limited and will comprise only six episodes.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will tell the “epic love story [between] two characters changed by a changed world” and is set to debut on AMC on 25th February 2024. The show is expected to captivate viewers with its engaging storyline and character-focused approach.
