Tom Hiddleston Talks About Possible Loki Appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine

Tom Hiddleston, known for his portrayal of Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) addressed rumors about Loki’s potential appearance in the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine.

With Disney acquiring Fox in 2016, fans have been eager to see characters from Fox’s Marvel movies join the multiverse adventure. Loki’s involvement given his multiverse escapades in the Disney+ series has been a topic of much speculation.

Hiddleston’s Cryptic Response

During ComFestCon, Hiddleston neither confirmed nor denied Loki’s role in Deadpool & Wolverine.

When asked about it he remained cryptic stating “I don’t know and if I did… I might not be allowed to tell you.” He emphasized Marvel’s secrecy regarding such matters but expressed his positive impression of the film’s trailer.

Connection to the Loki Series

The Deadpool & Wolverine trailer which broke records, prominently featured the TVA, a crucial element from Loki’s storyline.

This connection fueled speculations about Loki’s potential involvement in the movie especially considering the conclusion of Loki Season 2 where Hiddleston’s character assumes the role of the God of Time.

Other Potential Cameos

Apart from Loki, rumors swirl around other potential cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine. Recent reports confirm Jennifer Garner’s return as Elektra, while Aaron Stanford, known for his role as Pyro in the X-Men films also makes an appearance.

Speculations include appearances by Wesley Snipes (Blade), James Marsden (Cyclops), Famke Janssen (Jean Grey), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto) and Josh Brolin (Cable).

Brolin’s Tease

Josh Brolin, who plays Cable, teased the possibility of his cameo in a cryptic manner. He stated he hadn’t filmed any scenes for the movie but hinted at a potential appearance with a suggestive “Maybe” leaving fans intrigued.

Deadpool & Wolverine boasts a star-studded cast with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprising their roles.
