Tyra Banks, who took over as host of Dancing with the Stars in 2020, is leaving the show after three seasons. In an interview with TMZ, Banks cited her desire to focus on her business ventures and producing TV behind the scenes as the reason for her departure. “I think it’s time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor… from the ballroom to the boardroom!” she said.
As an executive producer on the series, Banks has been involved in the show’s production as well as hosting duties. She emphasized her passion for entrepreneurship and television production, stating that she wants to devote more time to her business and cannot do that while hosting a show.
